Studied International Forest Ecosystem Management (B.Sc.) at the Eberswalde University of Applied Sciences with an internship semester in the United States and a study semester at the University of Vienna focusing on international development. He then went on to study Global Change Ecology (M.Sc.) at the University of Bayreuth within the Elite Network of Bavaria and completed a PhD in sustainable urban development at the Geoinformation in Environmental Planning Lab at the Technische Universität Berlin.
He has several years’ professional experience at Siemens AG, Munich RE, the Federal Foreign Office and the internationally renowned climate and energy think tank E3G.
In addition to sustainable urban development and infrastructure and mobility solutions, Albert’s focus at sustainable is on the development and implementation of customized climate and sustainability strategies with and for companies. His work is centred on climate change mitigation, adaptation to the changes that are already occurring and the management of sustainability risks across the entire value chain.
