Bachelor studies in Geography (B.Sc.) at the Georg-August-University Göttingen including internship at the Eastern Michigan University (USA). Master studies Climate and Environmental Change (M.Sc.) at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
Sophia Marie gained practical experience during her master’s degree as an intern, working student and master’s student at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH for the topics of climate protection and adaptation measures in the course of climate change. This was followed by a year as a network planner in the field of fiber optic expansion at a nationwide engineering company.
Her main focus at sustainable is supporting the development and implementation of climate strategies as well as advising on corporate and product carbon footprint (CCF & PCF) calculations.
Sophia Marie joined sustainable in 2022.
