sustainable is one of the leading management consultancies in the field of sustainability in Germany and has now also been awarded as one of the best consultancies for medium-sized companies. This is shown by our latest awards.
In December 2021, the German research institute Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB) recognized us as a Hidden Champion with the highest consulting quality. The “Hidden Champion” has been awarded nationwide since 2003 and is a long-established seal of quality for consulting companies in Germany. It is not possible to apply for the award. The pre-selection is made exclusively based on suggestions by an independent panel of experts from science and practice – and on the basis of empirical preliminary studies conducted by the WGMB. The WGMB then uses a structured, detailed survey among 1,032 executives from large and medium-sized companies to identify the hidden champions – these are highly specialized consulting firms that are less familiar to the general public. What they all have in common is that their clients attest them a higher level of expertise in their field than the three large consulting firms McKinsey, BCG and Bain.
The sustainability consulting discipline includes advice on sustainability strategy, sustainability management, climate strategy, climate reporting and climate risks. We ranked first in this discipline, ahead of the consulting firms PwC, KPMG, EY and Kearney. In the survey, our customers particularly highlighted our expertise, our commitment, and our orientation towards practical and implementation approaches.
During the German SME Summit of compamedia GmbH and the WGMB in June 2022, we received the Top Consultant Award. The renowned prize, which focuses on advising medium-sized companies, has already been awarded for the 13th time.
For the Top Consultant (www.top-consultant.de), the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB) examines German consulting companies every year. The main criterion of the study is the survey of medium-sized companies that had previously worked together with the participating management consultancies. Among other topics, they commented on the professionalism of the consultants, the satisfaction with the consulting service itself and, last but not least, whether they would give a recommendation. sustainable fulfilled the high criteria, making it one of the best SME consultancies in Germany and may call itself “Top Consultant” in the future.
