sustainable AG commits to reducing its absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 18% until 2025 and by 100% until 2050.
Since being found in 2008, sustainable has been successfully advising on sustainable development in Germany. Given this standing, we not only want to support companies and institutions in the implementation of their ambitious climate targets, but also take responsibility for our own environmental impact. Based on the greenhouse gas emissions we emit, we have therefore set ourselves an ambitious Science Based Target (SBT).
The SBT initiative is currently the state of the art for setting climate protection targets: The cooperation between the CDP, UN Global Compact and World Resources Institute ensures that SBT climate protection targets confirmed by the initiative are based on scientific standards and thus have a sustainable impact. Currently, 861 companies worldwide (as of 22.04.2020) are SBT-approved – with upward tendency. sustainable is one of the first companies in Germany to meet the high requirements.
After official confirmation by the SBT initiative, sustainable commits to reducing the absolute scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions by 18% until 2025 and by 100% until 2050 (base year 2018). In addition, we will continue to purchase 100% electricity from renewable energy sources each year.
